      June 28, 2016.  Mr. Phonesavanh Xaisomphan, Deputy District Governor of Hongsa and Mr. Likit Pongpa-ngan, Director for Social Development of Hongsa Power Co., Ltd. (HPC) presided at the ceremony to open the Shop that HPC has built for the Group of Oragnic Farmers in Ban Nakanekham, Hongsa district.  There were Mr. Kham-oun  Khamphukeo, Director of Co-operative Promotion Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry,  Vientiane, Mr. Sommy Xayalath, Head of Resttlement and Livelihood Management Unit (RLUM), officials from related government offices from Xayabouly province and in Hongsa district, and the villagers participated in the event.

     This Shop is opened to be the center for gathering organic products and handicrafts, to use proper marketing management to distribute the products to the markets, and to supply production factors to the members with fair price.  It will empower members' capability, preparing for co-operative establishment in the future.  In the event there were organic products gave as souvenire, and sold to the participants.
