         June 25, 2016.  Mr. Phonesavanh Xaisomphan, Deputy District Governor of Hongsa and Mr. Somsak Sithinamsuwan, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Co., Ltd. (HPC) presided at the handover ceremony for the mountain water supply system which HPC has built in the Ban Nongluang village.   There were Mr. Sommy Xayalath, Head of Resttlement and Livelihood Management Unit (RLUM), officials from related government offices and the villagers participated in the event.

 

        HPC has contributed more than 90 million LAK to build water supply system in Ban Nongluang, to serve all 66 households of 383 residents in the village, who regarded the benefactors to the Hongsa Power Project since they shared some area of their farmland to HPC for the wrestlers in Ban Nakanekham.  Mr. Somsak stated that "the water is essential for daily living and HPC is grateful to be a part of the village development for the better living.  This system would help to bring sufficient water for utilizing and consumption of all people in Ban Nongluang.  The corporation of the villagers is needed to  maintain the tools and equipment of the system in good condition, to keep it work as long as possible."
