Hongsa Power Welcomes Xayaboury Provincial People’s Council and Hongsa District People’s Council to Follow Up on Labor Management

On August 6, 2026, Hongsa Power Company Limited welcomed representatives from the Xayaboury Provincial People’s Council and Hongsa City People’s Council, led by Mr. Kavee Keddomli, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the National Assembly, and Vice President of the Xayaboury Provincial People’s Council; Ms. Vanna Phomvisone, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the National Assembly, and Chairwoman of the Committee on Culture, Society and Ethnic Affairs; and Mr. Sithanonsai Thongthepa, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Hongsa City Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial People’s Council Delegation for the Hongsa City Constituency. The visit was held to attend a meeting to follow up on Hongsa Power’s labor management and labor protection practices, as well as those of contractors working within the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project. The meeting also provided an opportunity to receive updates on the company’s operations and exchange views and recommendations.

On this occasion, Mr. Pratheep Yoknamngoen, Deputy Managing Director – Finance, Accounting & Commercial of Hongsa Power Company Limited, welcomed the delegation and attended the meeting together with the company’s management team and representatives at Meeting Room 301, Phonchan Office. The company presented information on labor management, protection of labor rights, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as its approach to supervising contractors to ensure strict compliance with standards related to occupational safety, health, and employee welfare.

The meeting reflected Hongsa Power’s commitment to labor management based on good governance principles, with a strong emphasis on compliance with applicable laws and standards, while safeguarding the rights, welfare, and safety of employees and workers across all sectors. These practices form an important foundation for the company’s sustainable business operations.
