“Mae Moh Mine, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), Visits the Operations of the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project”

On 20 November 2025, Hongsa Power Company Limited, led by Mr. Poowanart Khumpiraphan, Director of Mine Operations, together with the management team, welcomed the delegation from Mae Moh Mine, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), led by Mr. Pirom Kamthara, Head of Mae Moh Mine Operations, at Hongkhamsaiyakan Building.

The Mae Moh delegation has consistently visited the Hongsa Project annually under a long-standing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two parties. This cooperation aims to strengthen technical knowledge, exchange practical experiences in mine planning, mining operations management, and various operational best practices that support the continued development of both projects toward greater efficiency.

This year’s visit marks another important milestone reinforcing the collaboration between the two organizations and supporting Hongsa Thermal Power Plant’s commitment to maintaining international standards in occupational health and safety, and environmental management, including ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
