“Hongsa Power Showcases Innovation Excellence, Winning 3 Awards at the 2026 BANPU Thailand Innovation Awards”

On 5 March 2026, Banpu Public Company Limited hosted the “2026 BANPU Thailand Innovation Awards” at Thanapoom Building, the company’s headquarters in Thailand. The event provided a platform for Banpu Group companies to present innovative projects that can be further developed and effectively applied to real-world operations. The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Sinin Vongkusolkit, Chief Executive Officer of Banpu Public Company Limited, who attended to encourage all participating teams.

In 2026, Hongsa Power Company Limited submitted a total of three innovation projects to the competition. Remarkably, all three projects received awards, as follows:

Combustion Optimization Project

Smart Predicting Lithology Project

By Mr. Attapol Nopparatthirakul, Senior Officer - Coal Quality and Database, Mine Engineering Division

Gear Oil Automation Recording and AI/ML Analyze & Predict Result

By Mr. Somphon Chanthaphaly, Officer - Mechanical-Conveyor Maintenance, Mining Plant and Equipment Division

This achievement reflects the strong capability of Hongsa Power personnel in innovating, developing, and practically applying new solutions. These innovations enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and effectively reduce organizational costs.
