“Hongsa Power Joins Lao New Year Songkran Festival 2026, Uniting Hongsa Community Power Toward Sustainability”

On 22 April 2026, Hongsa Power Company Limited (HPC), led by Mr. Kathayuth Chupoon, Managing Director, together with the management team and employees, participated in the Hongsa Maha Songkran Festival, a treasured New Year tradition shared by both Laos and Thailand. The event was graciously presided over by H.E. Douangta Xayavud, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and Chairman of Xayaboury Provincial Administration, together with H.E. Lae Onesomboon, Chairman of Hongsa District Administration, at Hongsa District Hall.

The festival was filled with an atmosphere of joy, warmth, and unity, reflecting the active participation of all sectors, including government agencies, local leaders, private organizations, communities, as well as employees and contractors within the project, all joining together to preserve and continue this meaningful cultural tradition as a lasting part of society.

On this occasion, Hongsa Power Company Limited provided financial support of LAK 6,500,000 to help conserve and promote the shared Lao–Thai cultural heritage and traditions, which serve as an important foundation of the local community, while reaffirming the Company’s role as an organization that grows hand in hand with society.
