“Empowering the Future: Hongsa Power Grants Scholarships to Young Students in Ngeun District for Academic Year 2025–2026”

On October 10, 2025, the Community Relations Section, under the Social Development Department of the Corporate Affairs Division, Hongsa Power Company Limited, organized a Scholarship Granting Ceremony for the academic year 2025–2026. The event was held at the Ngeun District Office, where scholarships were awarded to high school students in the district.

The ceremony was co-chaired by Mr. Kathayuth Chupoon, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Company Limited, and Mr. Thongphan Souksavath, District Party Secretary of Ngeun. The event was attended by district leaders, officials, and company employees in a warm and cooperative atmosphere.

For this academic year, the company awarded 10 scholarships totaling 50 million LAK to support students with outstanding academic performance and good conduct, providing them with opportunities to further develop themselves at school, district, and provincial levels — and to grow into the next generation of community leaders.

This initiative reflects Hongsa Power’s continued commitment to supporting education since 2011 and reinforces the belief that “Education is the power of development.” It serves as a gateway to a stronger, more sustainable future, empowering young people to become driving forces for social and national progress.
