“Hongsa Power Welcomes Electricité du Laos (EDL) Delegation for Operational Visit”

During 18–19 March 2026, Hongsa Power Company Limited, led by Mr. Pratheep Yoknamngoen, Deputy Managing Director – Finance Accounting and Commercial, together with the management team, warmly welcomed Mr. Bounthan Phandolack, Assistant Managing Director of Electricité du Laos (EDL), along with a delegation of 15 representatives from EDL, at the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant.

The visit was organized to provide an overview of the Company’s operations and to foster knowledge exchange. During the visit, the EDL delegation participated in discussions to share perspectives and experiences in power plant operation management, as well as approaches to enhancing operational efficiency under the Company’s safety and environmental management standards.

In addition, the delegation conducted site visits across various operational areas of the project to gain a comprehensive understanding of operational processes and management practices.

This visit reflects the strong collaboration between Hongsa Power Company Limited and Electricité du Laos in exchanging knowledge and expertise in the energy sector. It also reinforces the shared commitment to enhancing efficient power system development, ensuring energy security, and promoting long-term sustainability in the Lao PDR.
