Community Leaders of Hongsa District Visit the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project Progress 2025

On 1 December 2025, the Community Relations Section, Social Development Department, Corporate Affairs Division of Hongsa Power Company Limited organized a study visit for community leaders from Hongsa District. Representatives from Ban Muanghan, Ban Viengkeo, Ban Champa, and Ban Simouangkhoun—totaling 20 participants—visited the Hongsa Thermal Power Plant Project to learn about the project’s operations and progress across all key areas.

The delegation was led by Mr. Buaphon Keomixay, Deputy Chief of Hongsa District Office, and warmly welcomed by Ms. Keoduangson Sihalad, Social Development Department Manager, Corporate Affairs Division, representing the Company’s management.

This annual visit is part of the Company’s continuous efforts to create a shared learning platform between the project and surrounding communities. The program provides essential insights on power plant operations, coal mining management, corporate social responsibility initiatives, and the project’s environmental management system aligned with international standards ISO 14001:2015, as well as occupational health and safety management in compliance with ISO 45001:2018.

This activity not only enhances accurate understanding of the Company’s operations but also strengthens cooperation between the project and the communities. The knowledge gained will enable community leaders to effectively communicate and disseminate accurate information within their respective villages.
