“Hongsa Power Upholds Buddhist Traditions, Offering Lent Candles and Rain Retreat Robes to Temples in Hongsa City in 2026”

From July 22 to August 4, 2026, Hongsa Power Company Limited organized the annual Lent Candle and Rain Retreat Robe Offering Ceremony at 15 temples across Hongsa City in celebration of the Buddhist Lent Festival 2026. The activity aimed to support and preserve Buddhism, uphold cherished local traditions, and strengthen the spiritual values of the local community for generations to come.

The annual Lent Candle Offering is one of the religious and cultural activities that the Company has continuously supported since 2012. This longstanding commitment reflects Hongsa Power’s dedication to being an integral part of the community and contributing to the preservation and continuation of the valuable customs and traditions of the people of Hongsa from one generation to the next.

The 15 participating temples were Wat Ban Na Kaen Kham, Wat Ban Champa, Wat Ban Wiang Kaeo, Wat Ban Na Pung, Wat Don Sai, Wat Thaen Kham, Wat Phon Sung, Wat Si Mung Khun, Wat Chom Chaeng, Wat Phon Chan, Wat Na San, Wat Phon Sai, Wat Ban Han, Wat Si Bun Rueang, and Wat Thung.

Beyond expressing faith and respect for Buddhism, this activity also provided an important opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the Company, temples, and local communities.
