“Hongsa Power Strengthens Community Spirit and Preserves Local Heritage at the Xienghorn District Boat Racing Festival 2025”

Hongsa Power Company Limited continues to uphold its commitment to promoting local culture and supporting one of Xienghorn District’s most treasured traditions — the annual Longboat Racing Festival. The 2025 festival took place from 5–6 November 2025 at Ban Mai Nongsang, filled with vibrant local participation and cultural pride.

This year, the company provided a total sponsorship of 119,000,000 LAK, comprising 20,000,000 LAK for event organization and 99,000,000 LAK to support rowing jerseys for 18 villages. The contribution aims to enhance readiness, strengthen solidarity, and uplift the morale of the community ahead of the competition.

On 6 November 2025, the opening ceremony was held with Mr. Saeng-athit Laobreeyadtor, Secretary of Xienghorn District Party Committee, presiding over the event. Distinguished guests from Xayaboury Province, government agencies, private sectors, and nearby communities also joined the celebration in great numbers.

Representing the company, Mr. Kathayuth Chupoon, Managing Director of Hongsa Power Company Limited, together with the management team and staff, attended the ceremony and enthusiastically supported the local rowers — demonstrating the strong bonds between the company and the community.
